Honovi Pack (Must Read!!!) « Thread Started on Nov 22, 2008, 10:40pm »
A lone figure stood on the horizon, standing daringly close to the edge of a cliff. She surveyed the barren lands before her with a bitter taste in her mouth. It was nothing like the lands she had left behind...but it had a lot of potential. It may not be as pretty as the forests, but with time, the botany empowered she wolf could change that. But, then again, Acka was getting ahead of herself. Since the Great Battle, Acka had yet to see any of her beloved pack members...or of her greatest love and partner, Condor.
Swishing her feathery tail back and forth, Acka inhaled deeply as a gentle breeze combed through her white pelt. For the next few minutes she continued to survey the territory before her, balancing the good and the bad of settling her pack here. She had already explored all through the immense stretch of land. It was not only large, but it should be fairly easy to defend. She was yet unsure of what evils still lurked, waiting to strike at those who had braved outside the White Wolves protection.
After a few more moments thought, Acka nodded to herself. She had already marked the borders, claiming these lands as the Honovi's, but it was not yet official...not until...
Acka raised her muzzle skyward and, from deep within her chest, she sang the song of an Alpha, telling everyone of her claim...and welcoming the Honovi home again. Acka sang her song for a long time, pausing every now and then with ears strained forward as she listened for the answered calls of her pack.

A gray wolf trodded on the cliff. He was thin and almost sickly looking. He was once a majestic looking creature, proud and full of promise, but that was a long time ago. The only thing that remained sharp about him were his steely blue eyes. Instantly they caught movement on the cliff. Garn growled inwardly to himself but it went almost as soon as it came. He stared for a few moments, not quite believing his eyes. Was that..? No it couldn't be. It wasn't until the howl sounded from the female's lips that Garn knew. He knew who it was and he knew he was home.
Running happily he barked "Acka!" he stopped a few feet away from his old alphess and stood waiting for her to turn and acknowledge him. How long had it been since he'd seen her? Months, years, decades? He couldn't remember but none of that mattered now, he was just happy to see his leader.

The sound of someone barking her name caused Acka to turn sharply around. Her song came to an abrupt halt as she spun. She knew that voice! But the wolf she turned and saw did not match the one in her memory. Only when she looked at his eyes did she know who it was. "Garn!" She leapt toward him, more sure footed than most on the clifftop due to where she had been born and raised. Her tail wagged heavily back and forth as she pranced up to him and around him playfully. Shame? Nah! How could it be shameful to greet your family with such happiness? "I'm so glad to see that you're alright!" She paused then and thought. Well...mostly. She wondered where Kala was and if she too was alright, though she dared not ask in case the news was grime.
Recent events had taken their toll on everyone. Acka had came back just from her trip to other lands just in time for all the chaos. It was true, her pelt carried no blood at present, but only because she had cleaned herself in the acidic pools below. That water may taste horrible, but it did wonders for removing old, dried blood. Still, the signs of hardship were present on Acka, despite her attempt to hide it. Her ribs and hips were showing and her eyes, which were usually bright and happy, seemed to carry the weight of a thousand worlds or worry. And yet, she continued to wag her tail, overjoyed at having at least one member of her extended family back and safe.

Taking short, quick strides, Ayana raced in the direction she had heard her alpha's howl. Her and Jareth had been lazing around nearby when the call went up, and after a few moments scrambling about, they had set off. She got a head start (which she made sure of by tripping Jareth as she passed him), and she maintained it by quickening her pace, making the trees fly past. It was still a game of theirs to see who could win races, even in these healing times.
She glanced over her shoulder for her friend -- even more protective of him now -- before leaping over a snow-laden branch that had fallen to the ground. Now in the clearing where her alpha and another (Garn, she recognized him vaguely), Aya yipped and bounded over. She wasn't sure is Acka knew her too well, but she was happy to see the female. If Acka was back, the pack was back. And that meant a safe place for her..and Jareth. Tail wagging, she licked the air close to the alpha's face before spinning about and looking towards where she had come for Jareth, a grin across her tiny maw.

Jareth It was mere seconds after Aya had entered the territory, that Jareth came racing after her. His lithe legs moved quickly and gracefully right behind her. He came to a stop when he saw Acka and Garn. He barked happily and wagged his tail, but approached the alphess more cautiously then Aya had. He gave a little bow to her before taking his place next to his friend. Jareth licked Aya's cheek and smiled wryly at her. It was good to be home.
Kala Suddenly a new body burst from the opposite side of the territory in which Jareth had entered. It was a cream female whose long legs and motherly face distinguished her. It was Kala and she was running with an excitement she hadn't felt in what seemed like years. "Acka! she nearly screamed as she ran to her alphess. She licked her leader happily and then stopped. "Acka it is wonderful to have you back." she said respectfully. She then turned to Garn and bit his ear playfully. "It's good to see you too old friend." she said, pure sincerity in her voice. Turning back to Acka she said "Acka I have found Kento! He will be here shortly."
Garn Before Garn could even answer Acka, wolves seemed to be running in from every direction. He looked around happily at the return of his long lost friends, wolves he hadn't seen since the Kerberos ordeal. He nudged Kala back and said "I'm glad to see you too." Garn's ears pricked forward curiously at the mention of Kento. Wasn't that Kala's old mate? He was surprised to hear that Kento was even alive, he had long thought his friend's mate was dead. This led him to think of his own mate, Mira. "Acka, I was just with Mira this morning. She will be along shortly I hope." he said, masking the worry for her lateness in his voice.

This day was a joyous one, for soon after Garn appeared so then did Kala. Acka barked happily in greeting, words failing her for a minute as she wagged her tail and accepted the gentle licks to her face and neck. It was, she thought, as a pack should be. Together, safe and happy. Kala's news of Kento and Garn's news of Mira made Acka perk up her ears and smile. "That's wonderful news!"
Soon after, two more wolves entered. Jereth and Ayana. She didn't know the pair as well as she had known Kala and Garn, but alas! What better time than the present to get closer to former friends and family?! And to Acka, her pack was just that. The family she devoted her entire being to. She greeted the two new wolves with the same fierce joy, prancing around and wagging her tail all the while. It mattered not that she may appear a little silly. Part of her family, at least, was safe.
For a brief moment she thought of Condor, who, by all rights should be standing here beside her, greeting their pack with her. And for a moment her joy faltered and her heart fell. Where was her love? Her life long mate? Her mind forced her to remember his injury and the limp he had carried from it and inwardly she winced. Even the most fit of wolves had had trouble making it through the fighting. Was it even then possible for her beloved to still be alive?
But looking into the 4 happy faces of what was currently left of her pack, Acka could not allow her heart to hurt. She smiled at them all and spoke. "I am so, so happy that all of you are safe. What say you we go for a pack hunt? Nothing large, but alas, something to fill our empty bellies. What say you, Honovi wolves, are you up for it?"

Ayana bounced on her paws as Jareth entered, giving his face a lick. She leaned her side against his legs and grinned at her alpha as she pranced about, not thinking less of her for being silly. She was just as happy. Her eyes flicked up to Jareth for a moment when she thought this. Then Acka spoke, and she returned her attention forward. Her head shook up and down in agreement, and a small woof escaped her maw before she slid under Jareth's legs -- a common hiding spot.
A hunt sounded just fabulous! With food in their bellies they'd be able to sleep and get settled in their new home. Even if it was a small meal, it would be wonderful.

Condor This whole getting old thing kind of sucked. Condor was definantly beat up, a nasty slash on his shoulder would leave a proud scar when it healed and uniform holes across the top of his muzzle told of powerfull jaws. But as he was used to, Condor came out victorious. He could have found Acka without her call. Not by his well devloped tracking abilities, but because his heart always pulled him magnetically towards her. Her call ringing out so prettily in the air only made his ageing heart fill with youth.
He picked up an easy lope, knowning that no matter how much he wanted to travel to his love in leaps and bounds, he would never make it if he got his shoulder bleeding again. So with each soft sound of paw pad hitting the ground, Condor's heart pounded faster, his head got light and he couldn't help but throw his head up and howl a long 'My love, I am coming, I miss you so terribly' Storm cloud legs carried him over the cliffs, his eyes held no one but her. Thank god for downhill slopes, the time and distance between them tore away as he raced toward her, the yips and barks of a pup escaping his mouth in the joy that was the rejoining of his heart wth hers. Stopping before his wounded muzzle grinned. "God I miss you."
Mira Fighting ran through her veins like blood did in other creatures. Loyalty, heart, and a finely honed skill left her well off after the long battle. A few minor scrapes and bruises, but all in all she was not worse for the wear. She wasn't following Acka's trail, but was delighted when it crossed the one she was tracking; her beloved Garn. They had been seperated for only a few hours since the morning, but after being seperated during the ordeal of Kerberos, any time apart drew every ounce of strength from her. He needed nurturing, he had been forced to grow up faster than he should ever have to, they both had when they had concieved pups, but the great distress that had fallen on the mountains had forced his youth from him.
She got a strong scent and easily picked up a full out gallop, paws reaching far over the land and devouring the land beneath her to get to her friends, her family. Familiar faces and scents were soon strong in the air, in her excitement forgetting that she was in motion Mira plowed straight into her grey mate.

Acka's back had been turned when she heard the first bark. Her expression froze and for a moment, everything was there. The tormenting fear and worry, the pain...and the hope that she dared not recognize for fear of it being in vain. Her entire body went still and her eyes were no longer seeing what was in front of her. Just for a moment or two, she was unable to act. And then he barked again.
Tears tore from her eyes as she tore her body around and leaped, without a second thought, towards the bark. His voice was one she knew better than any other. Her beloved was alive!!! "Condor!" The sound was half howl, half bark..a sound of pure, undaunted joy. The relief was so intense that tears blurred her vision. She had been prepared for the very worst, but alas! He was alive!
Her greeting to her pack, though it had been joyous, was nothing compared to the greeting her mate would receive. She didn't tackle him, for she could see he was injured, but rather she embraced him and covered his face in wolf kisses. Her tail had NEVER wagged so fast in all her life. Acka lived for her pack, but in this moment the world could have melted around her and she wouldn't have noticed. All she could see was him and all she could feel was their love as their hearts once again beat as one. Like two halves to a puzzle. Acka was one of the strongest wolves you would ever meet, but in Condor's embrace she melted. "I thought...I was afraid..." A sob shook her frame and she pressed closer to him, breathing in his scent, as if she had to confirm by every one of her senses that is was really him. "I love you Condor...I love you so much...'

Garn looked around eagerly and was pleased to see a familiar face coming forward. It was his old alpha, Condor. Even when the pack had faced turmoil before Kerberos Condor had loyally led his pack through it all, even in Acka's absence. Garn's respect was hard to earn but Condor more then deserved it, as well as Acka. The two couldn't have made better alphas. He stepped back from Acka so the two long lost mates could reunite. Then movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention.
Garn's eyes lit up as he saw his mate, Mira charging towards him. He met her with a happy yelp and licked her face happily, as if they were young ones again. Mira and Garn's meeting wasn't as passionate as Acka and Condor's because the two hadn't been separated for nearly as long, but still Garn thanked the Gods that he was alive and had Mira to share his life with.

The scents of her packmates washed over her, giving fuel to her tired paws. The old female picked up her pace, eager to return to her pack, to her family. She was limping slightly; her wandering hadn't been easy on her old bones, and her paw pads were cracked, the spaces between them caked with balls of snow. But there was an unmistakable bounce in her step as she moved closer to where she could hear the voices of the Honovi pack.
Letting off a short yip, Shenzi stepped out of the shadows, the gray speckling on her paws and muzzle becoming obvious, as well as her skinniness. Her green eyes sparkled, becoming the eyes of one much younger, filled with joy at seeing her packmates assembled.

OOC: For the purpose of everything running smoothly, we'll say that Acka met up with Misdemeanor before this thread took place. BIC: All good things must come to an end...and though Acka felt like she could stay there, embracing her mate forever, there were duties that called to her. Acka stepped back from Condor, licked his cheek and then nodded. Moments later, Shenzi entered. Acka was overjoyed. "Shenzi!" Acka took a step closer to her, but was unwilling to move out of leaping distance of Condor. When you think you lose the one you love, such side effects of their return are most normal, she rationalized. "It's great to see you!" And indeed it was. The former Alphess, who was now Acka's trusted Betan was a wise wolf whom Acka cared for greatly.
But alas, there were important things that Acka had allowed to slip by in her joy of her pack gathering again. Acka loudly cleared her throat to gather everyone's attention. "Honovi wolves." She started. "As you may have noticed, we have a new home. Our pack was hit hard by the Great Battle and we lost many good friends and pack mates. A larger, more powerful pack by the name of Frigid Plague has claimed the lands that were once ours. But, in contrast, we have gained something as well. This." Acka motioned with her head at the vast expanse of land behind her. "These lands offer better protection and offer good access to the Hunting Plains. Plus, the dens here are that of stone and they will hold up against bad storms much better than our old dens. It is more barren than our old lands however, and for that, I have come up with a solution. I have met with the Alpha of the Frigid Plague. In addition to creating an alliance between our two packs, he has agreed to use his highest leveled power over soil to help me, with my highest leveled power over plants, to transform our packlands into the likes that has never been seen before. If we work hard, our pack lands can become greater than any other lands. The game here will flourish, and with it, so then will our health and numbers."
Acka paused to let them take in the information. "However, I have requests to make of all of you. First, in order to transform our lands, we will all need to help. It is my request that each of you go see the white wolves and ask for a power over soil, plants...and perhaps one wolf to ask for the power of River...so that we may attempt to purify our water source as well. In addition, I would request that one or two wolves would try for the power of Stone so that you can help shape the dens to their maximum potential. You are not required to do this...but it is the best interest of our pack that you do. Take some time to think about it...later, once you have all made your choices, we will go as a pack and ask for these powers."
She paused again, giving them yet more time to state objections or opinions. "I know I have already asked a lot of you, but know that everything I do is in the best interest of the Honovi pack. And so, I ask for one more thing. The Frigid Plague, our new allies, are being threatened by a smaller pack. It is Lord Misdemeanor's desire to eliminate this threat before the pack gets any bigger. Our thoughts are thus, if enough of the Honovi pack -volunteers- to follow me and fight beside the Frigid Plague than the opposing pack may very well surrender without a fight, for our numbers would be too great for any hope of victory. Then we will have won without a drop of blood shed. And, I promise you, there will come a time when we are in need and the Frigid Plague will come to help us as we have to them. Karma. Now, we must depart as soon as possible, who will be brave enough to face battle, yet again, by my side?"
Acka surveyed what had become of her once 30 strong pack of wolves, but she knew that each and every one of them were brave and strong and loyal. She only hoped that they saw the reasoning behind what she was trying to do.

Garn Garn nodded happily at the return of the trusted beta, Shenzi. He had nothing but respect for the female but he could see she was growing older everyday and hoped that this new territory wouldn't be too harsh a condition for her to bear. His ears pricked forward attentively when Acka began to speak. Garn took everything she said in and took a short while to mull it over, thinking carefully. Acka finished her speech and Garn had come to a decision, about one of the predicaments anyway. He stepped forward to speak "Acka I think what you ask of us is more then fair but how can you be assured all of the White Wolves will grant us powers? I have no problem asking but I worry we will be greatly tested." he paused for a moment. "And as for the fighting" and suddenly his serious face was gone. Garn smiled smugly and said "Of course I'll fight!"
Kala Although Kala was preoccupied with the fact her mate had not yet shown up she heard everything Acka said. She stared blankly out across the barren terrain towards the boundaries where she hoped to see a flash of orange...to see Kento. Her yellow eyes turned when she heard Garn's voice. Kala caught his eye and he gave a tiny nod and she stood. "I too shall fight." she said proudly but despite the solidness in her words she couldn't help but worry. She certainly wasn't as young as she used to be and had never had much practice with fighting. Acka's words about no blood shed soothed her slightly though. "I am sorry Acka....but I do not believe I can request a power from the White Wolves. I will assist you in any other way I can." she finished. It wasn't that she didn't believe in the use of powers, especially since the benefit was going towards reshaping the lands, but Kala had a mild fear of what a power would do to her physically and mentally.
Jareth "I'll fight too!" Jareth barked loudly after his packmates had spoken up. He stood and wagged his tail, his brown eyes bright with excitement about the chance to battle another wolf. I also wouldn't mind a power. My sister has one and it's quite useful to her." he said. Jareth would love to have a power...how exciting would that be? He looked to Ayana and licked her cheek and proceeded to lock eyes with her to send a message only his love could understand. If she chose not to fight or not to request a power, Jareth would accept the choice no matter what.

Condor Condor's breath dragged out of his lungs as his mate moved away, but he knew that at some point they'd have to get used to not being embraced forever. He stood still and proud, listening while his mate spoke. Frigid Plague belonged to Kiowa and Arson, well they were members. He was there when they had formed to bond, he remembered Kiowa's gang, and assumed she had brought them with her to the pack. Not to mention her adopted son, no doubt just as fierce as his mother. A nervous prickle in his skin made his fur rise slightly, simply because of the history he had with those members, but he and Kiowa had seemed to overcome what she had done to him, and Arson was when it came down to it, flesh and blood.
He was certainly a stone kind of wolf, he saw how fitting Acka's power fit her, and though he was enthralled with her abilities, he did not see them as fitting well with himself. He looked about his pack, for a moment wondering where his sons were off to, but thinking about them all possessing powers. He agreed with Acka, about having them gain the powers of the earth, but he would speak to her later about chosing a few wolves, most likely from the warriors, to ask for powers to aid in their defense. Something more deeply elemental, like Fire.
At the words of war, Condor's ears pricked attentively. He was wounded, and needed a healing before he could lauch into another battle and truly hope to be successful, if it should come to that. Another thing he would have to speak to Acka about when more in privacy. His nose caught the whiffs of both his sons, Thalion being much closer by. Close enough to hear his mother's speech. He knew for certain he'd be one of the wolves to fight against the earthen powers, but quick to scream fo battle. He had a lot of his grandfather's blood in his veins.
Thalion Thalion came at a gallop from the trees. His muzzle was punctured, it looked fresh too, but other than tha was healthy. He was strong and brute like, and he had weathered the battle of Kerberos well. His smug grin said all that needed to be said about his opinion on battle. The hair on his neck rose that he would be defending the pack whose lands he had just tresspassed upon, the pack holding a wolf who had almost beaten him in a fight; had he not run away. It made him anxious, but all the while made him yearn to prove his battle skills infront of them, rahter than against them. He took his place among the other pack members, shooting his lady-killer grin up at his parents.
Mira Mira gave Garn one last nuzzle on cheek before turning to her alphas, listening intently to Acka as she spoke. The idea of powers...well she had always intended on going to get on herself, but with meeting Garn and having their children so soon after, well she had never had the oppurtunity. She knew already that she wanted to be one of the few who asked for River or Stone, though the earth was her friend it was not hers to meddle with. The strength of stone or pace and freshness of water, that was much more Mira than leaf and dirt. Her eyes moved to Garn, wondering what he would request. "May I request to seek the power of River or Stone Lady Acka? They are elements much closer to my heart. And given that we as a pack will be requesting, I think it'd be wise for us to request for something close to the soul."
Her eyes found Garn's smug grin at the idea of battle, both being warriors the thrill of the fight ran through their veins. "Ad I as well will gladly fight." She looked about, the Honovi Warriors had been a small and close knit group...powerful wolves abundant in skill. It saddened her now to not see so many of them, even their Cheif Ebon. She only hoped that the blood of Condor would return again, for they were united and unstoppable under her skill.
Sigil Sigil's greypelt bounced through the trees, he was lithe and agile like his mother and father. He stopped at the edge of the clearing and bowed his head when he saw that Acka was speaking, only moving forward to take his place next to his father when she had stopped talking. A power huh? He had only experienced Acka's, having been born around the same time as their own pups, Acka and Condor had become almost second parents, and he could not help but keep his tail from wagging at their site.
"I gladly take up arms and power in defense of the Honovi!" his voice was still maturing, and held still the youthfull tones of his puphood, but his words held all the meaning they were meant to. Loyalty was something he ahd learned from his parents, and from his Alphas. Even so young he knew he'd gladly lay down his life for his pack, and was happy for his first oppurtunity to prove it. Plus, his parents being warriors, he was born with a thrill for the battle, and was rareing to throw back his head and show them what he had gotten from them.

Kento followed Kala's scent across the land until reaching her. He walked up beside her, only catching small bits of the conversation. He sat near her and continued to listen. He smiled to everyone. He was sure...he'd known them once. He knew Kala would explain when she had the chance to. For now he waited silently and patiently. It sounded as though there might be a war. His ears fell worriedly. "I'm not so sure what is happening, but I will be honored to defend Honovi." he said and glanced down at Kala.

The turn of events made Aya's small body quiver with excitement. Powers? Powers and a fight? An alliance? She stayed perfectly still during Acka's speech, sucking in and proccessing every word. Only when Acka finished did the little female speak up -- at the same time as Jareth. Their speech blended into a mash of the word "fight". Glancing at him when he looked at her, she stood from her sitting position so she could reach his maw, giving it a big lick with her small tongue. Her thoughts of Jareth fighting had her most protective of him.
Aya looked around at her pack mates as each of them spoke in turn, listening to what they thought. When they were all done, she spoke. "I would request, like Mira, the River power, Alpha-Acka," The black and gray female inclined her head and smiled. Maybe she wouldn't be able to go into combat with her bigger pack mates, but she could definitely help restore the land.[/blockquote]

Shenzi grinned as Acka called to her. "It's good to see you too, Lady Acka!" she replied, tail wagging as she padded over to the group. Sitting down as she began talking, the old female tilted her head at the alpha's request. It was fair, and made sense. However...
"Acka, I would gladly go request a power for myself to aid you, but I already possess one. Unfortunately, I don't think it will be of much use..." Shenzi trailed off, green eyes dropping to her paws. The only way her power could be useful in the renovating of the territory was if they were doing work at night, when she would be able to use Flashlight to illuminate the work area, but the wolves with soil wouldn't need it, since they would be able to use their power to see. In the end, it seemed she was useless for this task.

Acka was overwhelmed by the response of her pack. Their loyalty to their pack made her heart swell with pride and her smile openly displayed that pride.
Garn was the first to speak. He brought up a valid point. ”I have met Sheba only once, when I was granted my own power, but I do believe she is a just wolf. It is my hope that she will understand our reasoning and need and that she will grant us our requests. It’s all left to hope really…and if she denies us…we will think of something else. Once everyone has decided what they, personally, are going to do I will take the group of volunteers and I will speak for our pack and briefly about each wolf. Then, should she wish it, Sheba can speak to each wolf and you may all individually plea your case and show her your cause is true. We can only hope for the best.”
Kala spoke next, saying she could not request her power. Acka nodded in understanding and acceptance of the female’s choice. It was a personal choice and she would not force her wolves to get powers or look down on them if they chose not to. ”Very well Kala, it shall then be your duty to do what a wolf was born for. You will hunt and keep those who are otherwise busy working fed. We will cycle worked out every few days so that none of us exhaust our powers. So those who are not working or resting will also help you hunt…but it will be your duty to organize these hunts.”
Jareth and Ayana spoke then, both agreeing to fight and to ask for a power. Acka smiled at the younger wolves enthusiasm and nodded her head. Acka’s son, Thalion, entered then and Acka’s tail wagged and she beamed at him. Mira’s voice was next to come. ”Very well Mira…Ayana. It would be excellent if both of you requested River…you two could work together to purify the water.”[b] Then came young Sigil, bouncing into the area. Acka smiled in greeting at him. She had been tiny when she had last saw him…it was amazing how fast the young ones grew up. Kento came then and he too, would defend the Honovi. Acka left it to his mate to fill him in on what he had missed. Shenzi was last to speak and Acka took a step towards the old wolf, offering a tender smile. [b]”Shenzi…the service you provide our pack already is far from useless. Knowledge and wisdom my old friend are powers all in their own. I turn to you as my Betan, when I am unsure…and as we do this, and Condor and I are too exhausted to keep on our feet any longer, the basic care and welfare of the pack will fall to you.”
All of them, including the younger wolves, were egger to fight. She worried about the younger, less experienced wolves…but in this fight, numbers would matter so she would allow them to come. Though, if a fight did break out, she may very well have them retreat. Acka surveyed her pack and smiled. ”Very well…Garn, Kala, Jereth, Ayana, Thalion, Mira, Sigil, Kento…the eight of you will be the Honovi’s army. I am confident that our numbers, combined with that of the Frigid Plague, will put a quick end to this potential war.”
Acka turned then to her mate and offered him a tender, loving smile. ”Fate is cruel to us m’love…for we must part again. But before I go, I must tell you, there are two twin male wolves who will come here, or are already here…they are spies and they are dangerous. Our son, Rochben, knows of them and I fear he may be confronting them as we speak. While we are gone, will you and Shenzi find him and ensure all is well?” Acka moved until she stood right in front of him and she touched the tip of her nose with his. ”We won’t be gone long. I love you.” Acka stepped back and looked at Shenzi. ”Hold the fort down, my friend, and please…see to it that my mate and son don’t get themselves killed.” She laughed lightly and winked before turning back to the warriors.
”Garn, Kala, Jereth, Ayana, Thalion, Mira, Sigil, Kento!” She barked. ”Let’s be off! We’ll talk more about our tactics when we arrive at the Frigid Plague!” And with that Acka raced past the wolves, leading the way to war.
There came a single pup the color of midnight with white on the underside that looked dark grey due to days of traviling. The pup is not starved but has had little to eat on her way alonge the land's she has been alone completely since the day her parents left her in the woods of the Adotte Tree's.Knowing that she is running in the direction of a pack for she has heard the crys of the wolfs on her way toward's there land.Knowing that she is alone and needs to find a place to live.Thinking that if she can't find a place soon that she might not make it becuase she knows that there are larger and stronger wolfs that could hurt her. She is hoping that the Alpha's of the pack she approches will allow her to join but know's that they might not for some packs don't except pup's that come from putside the pack. Salina comes to the border of the pack territory and carefully approuch's.she can hear wolf's in the distance but knows not weather to approuch for fear that she might be attacked so instead she stands on the border and crys out hopeing that a wolf in the dpack will hear her and come out and meet her.
