Welcome to White Wolf Mountain (WWM)! WWM is an all-level fantasy wolf RPG. The characteres here at WWM live in a valley in the shadow of the magestic Mystic Mountain. Its the Mountain that makes this place so special. In its heart resides a Power that the White Wolves share with the mortal wolves living here!
Sounds interesting? Well it is, silly! WWM was founded way back in 2003, and has been going strong ever since. This is its fourth home, hence WWM4. Its other homes were either sadly invaded by bad people, mysteriously dissapearing or in desperate need of housecleaning.
So, if you'd like to join, have a browse through the boards, have a look at the important threads and join an account with us! We look forward to role-playing with you!
For many generations now the lands around White Wolf Mountain have prospered under the protection of White Magic, a creation of the natural magic that suffuses the mountain.
While there has never been peace between the good and evil packs a balance was always maintained. But in recent months a dark force has arisen: Kerberos, a spirit of chaos and malevolence.
The delicate balance of life in the valley was upset and for a time destruction and fear became a way of life.
In recent weeks, through the courage and loyalty of the packs, the balance has once again been restored. It will be a long time before the land and its inhabitants forget the evil that was done but with the help of White Magic the wounds are beginning to heal.
Pinboard If you need the staffs help for something and its not urgent or private enough to warrant a PM, post here. For example if a thread needs modding.
Updates (3 sub-boards) Has a character changed? Need to put some characters up for adoption? Going to be away for a while? Have a look in here and tell us so.
Affiliation and Advertisements Guests and members may post affiliation requests and advertisements here. Please read the stickied threads first. [Guest Friendly]
Create Characters (2 sub-boards) This is where you must create your characters before you play. Please follow the directions carefully, and wait for staff acceptance before playing.
Plots, Histories and Collections (3 sub-boards) Here you'll discover some sub-boards to organise your characters, be it organising new plots, old histories played out or just a list of your characters; where they are and what they're up to.
Packs If your character is starting a pack, read the sticky in here and post up a roster sheet here. You MUST keep it up-to-date! Please report changes to your list in the Updates board.
Mystic Mountain Peak This is where the Power in the land is said to be harnessed - a snowy-topped mountain where wolves can explore. Be careful though, if you go too high up you may find yourself stuck in an avalanche.
Adlerwolf Springs These bubbling springs form pools of warm mineral water that run into a small stream. It trickles through a small valley in the mountains and then feeds the Wildwater Falls.
Outer Reaches Territory (4 sub-boards) Covered mostly in scrub and heather, the Outer Reaches territory is moderately sized and positioned in a secluded spot away from the general hubbub of the valley. Claimed by the Dark Avengers Pack
Bleak Bluffs Territory (5 sub-boards) Riddled with hidden dips and high jutting rock, the Bleak Bluffs is a large territory that provides many hiding places. The soil here is too hard for digging, but natural rock formations offer pre-made dens. Claimed by The Honovi
Barran Wastes Territory (3 sub-boards) Small and dilapidated, the only upside of this territory is its proximity to the Northern Hunting Plains. With a mixture of bare rock, open grass, the only cover is the small copse of claimed trees. Claimed by the Escor Pack
Afterlife A spooky wolf afterlife. Nothing lives here, all the trees are dead, and there is always a heavy mist. Be careful, you don't know who or what is lurking in the shadows. Rarely any living wolves venture here, but many spirits like to meet here.

The Forests - East
Sapling Grove Territory (4 sub-boards) Severely ravished by fire a few years ago, the trees here are growing close together and are yet to mature. The ground is covered in undergrowth, providing stealth to those that require it. Moderately sized, it is set far back into the forest so provided secrecy and security. Claimed by the Dancing Winds Pack
Wildflower Clearing Territory (3 sub-boards) So named for the wide clearing at its centre populated with an array of wild flowers, this small territory is ideally placed and sheltered by many trees. Claimed by Aphotic Eclipse
Treesea Territory (5 sub-boards) This immense territory covers much of the Forests, containing a mixture of evergreen trees and to its Western border, a grove of oaks. The trees are all well grown, and the ground is clear of undergrowth. It is perhaps one of the most desired territories. Claimed by Frigid Plague
Arbre D'Amore An age-old meeting place for those lonely of heart. Wolves seeking mates often come here to find someone special where the silver birches paint a romantic scene.
The Redwoods These towering russet-barked trees dominate the hill on which they grow. Nothing grows on the forest floor here except the occasional brave fern. The ground is soft with the fallen leaves and bark of the monstrous trees.
The Water Course (4 sub-boards) Fed by the Adlerwolf Springs and other various tributaries, this watercourse is the main source of water in the valley. From the falls all the way to the lake, without this water the valley would never support its inhabitants.
Tranquil Meadows Territory (5 sub-boards) The largest of all the territories, the Tranquil Meadows spans a wide area of grassland, with plenty of hunting opportunities and the occasional copse of trees where dens can be built. Claimed by Eternal Snowfall
Longrass Territory (3 sub-boards) This small territory is smothered in long grass, hence its name. It is a fairly pleasant place, and is a good place for a small pack to settle. It has easy access to the Hunting Plains, but it is badly sheltered in Winter. Claimed by Northern Downpour
Hidden Glade Territory (4 sub-boards) A medium sized territory with most of its border lined by trees. Situated in a natural basin, it is the most hidden of the grassland territories. Its only downfall is the tendency of water to collect in the very bottom of the basin in Spring. As a result, most dens are built nearer the forest. Claimed by Storm Skies
